Why This Update Matters
June's second Game Pass wave demonstrates Microsoft's continued focus on offering a mix of major AAA franchises and independent releases. The inclusion of Call of Duty: Vanguard expands Microsoft's growing Activision catalog on Game Pass, while EA Sports FC 26 strengthens the service's sports gaming lineup.
The arrival of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 is also expected to attract longtime fans of the skateboarding franchise, especially after the success of previous remastered releases.
Xbox Game Pass Continues Strong Momentum in 2026
The latest additions follow an already impressive first half of June, which included titles such as Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions, Persona 5 Royal, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Jurassic World Evolution 3, Final Fantasy VI, and The Elder Scrolls Online for PC subscribers.
With dozens of upcoming day-one releases announced during the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, Microsoft appears committed to making Game Pass one of the industry's most valuable gaming subscriptions.
Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass
As new titles arrive, several games are also expected to leave the service later this month. Microsoft typically offers subscribers a discount to purchase departing games before they are removed from the Game Pass catalog.
